Scarlet Dreams Flow Easy

In the eyes of the pessimist:
Beauty is seen but missed,
Love is lost but not kissed,
Life takes a sick twist…
Tired dead eyes of the pessimist.

In the eyes of the optimist:
Life is a joyful tryst,
Love found is never missed,
Beauty is everywhere kissed…
Happy wired eyes of the optimist.

In the mind of this anarchist:
Beauty is the eternal twist,
Love and chaos often twist,
Life itself seems so missed…
Insane life of the anarchist.

But…

In the heart of this anarchist:
Life needs twist after twist,
Love is felt, carressed and kissed,
Beauty in everything sometimes missed…
Tangled heart of this anarchist.

The Land of the Purple Sky

I scribbled this demented pile of poems a while back about everything but nothing. No, I was not on drugs at the time. They are set in a delusional world, about a delusional kid, having delusions of grandeur. Every once in awhile, I will be posting more of these on this blog. Most are not titled yet. With my poetry, I have always wandered off on tangents, tried to experiment with abusing the English language, and delved ever further into uncharted parts of my head. (mwahaha). Basically, even I don’t know to what extremes it will drag me. Hope ya like it, but don’t really care if you hate it, really. Have a good wander, let me know what you think. Several different forms, several different types, all my noise…

The Last

As I wander through this wonderful life,

I often pause to scan the strife,

My ex-wife, my ex-bosses, my ex-properties…

The life I’ve chosen was chosen to tease.

It teases me with pleasures sublime,

And nudges me towards  the world of crime.

It wraps me up in silk and snot,

Lands me jobs that ne’er pay alot…

Kicks me when I’m up or down…

This life I stole… I am the Clown.
